All right I got some fun pics! The past few weeks have been pretty good. Our house still hasn't sold but we have had a handful of people come through. If any of you know anyone looking to buy a house in Spokane washington send them to us. It's a cute little starter home. I am hopeing that we won't have to pay two house payments when we are in California!
So I am trying to get pics up for you all to see but I can't get it to work so we will have to try again another time.
It seems weird that we are just biding our time here until we leave. I have a few weeks left of work and although I love the people that I work and our clients I am finding it hard to stay focused. There is not much more we can do with our house aside from keep it clean and wait for it to sell. And we can't really look for housing down there until we know if our house sells, so I feel like we are at a moot point. I am enjoying spending time with our families and friends but know that I truly won't appreciate it until we are gone.
I am sad that our parents and siblings won't be around for when we receive our child(ren) although we will visit them and they will visit us. We have been so spoiled being stationed in the same city that we grew up in. But I am so excited for this new stage in our life. I think Heavenly Father has been preparing us for this.
Also we are going to need to find a new home our puppy Lola, she is adorable and beautiful but we won't be able to take 2 dogs with us, not because the military won't allow but we will not be able to afford housing that will allow two dogs. Sad huh? So also if any of you know of someone who would want a "red" (really brown) doberman pinscher who is up on her shots, micro-chipped, potty trained, and knows her basic obedience let us know!

Amazing!
Not much to say other than it is absolutely gorgeous here in Spokane today! The weather is perfect.........sunny, green, smelling like the change of seasons, and warm! And best of all Lindsay was able to come home last night. I always get so relieved when he comes home, it's like he is my calm and sereneness. So lovely! Even everyone at work has noticed how much happier I seem today, I am so glad he is back!!!!!

Going where?
All right, so I haven't had a computer in forever and don't really have the right to post at work but I am on my lunch hour and thought I would get a quick one in while I could. Our lives have been thrown upside down with every emotion in the last month or so.
-We were officially approved for adoption with our profile going out.
-I was a great advocate for adoption and was able to change our agency policies at my work surrounding time off for those adopting. I must add I created a great argument to the Board of Directors about the importance of visits with social workers, etc. to take appropriate time off without using vacation hours! And I heard that only one person in the quorum of decision makers was opposed!
-Lindsay and I found out that we are receiving orders to move to Edwards Air Force Base in Southern California!!!!! We leave in just a couple of months..............
-Thereby we put our house on the market and are hoping that it will sell quickly and at a price where we won't end up upside down. Yikes and yet exciting all in the same sentence!
-Thus we also will no longer be approved once we get to Cali because we will need to pay some money, get new background checks done, and a new home study..................craziness..............the wait continues.
However, we will be in beautiful weather year round! We will have plenty of room for company to stay when people want to take a vacation and depending on how things go I may not have to work!!!!!!
On another note, this weekend my family and I went to coast of washington to visit with family and celebrate my grandmother's 80th birthday with a party! It was so fun and nice to see people. Pics to come soon once my computer at home comes back.
